Start your day at the lively Brikama Craft Market, where you can discover traditional Gambian wood carvings, colourful fabrics, handmade jewellery and other local crafts. Take your time to explore the market and meet local craftsmen.

From Brikama, continue towards the creeks. From here, take a short boat ride to Sita Joyeh (Baobab Island), a beautiful natural setting surrounded by mangroves and impressive baobab trees.

Enjoy a relaxing walk on the island and discover the surrounding nature and birdlife. You can also enjoy a boat trip through the peaceful creeks, where you may spot different bird species, mangroves and, with some luck, crocodiles. Enjoy a local lunch and some time to relax on the island.
